Issue 2. April 2015 Edition
Here is the latest issue of our Eonza newsflash. For the past month we implemented a significant possibility – now you can give access to your information storage to your friends and colleagues. Access is granted only to tables to read, edit, create or delete records in them. Users cannot change table structure and the main menu, nor do they have access to other system information. Also, you can allow a user to access only records he or she created. Permissions management is done with three tables in the Administration section. First, you should create a user group, then add a user and assign a certain group to him or her. In the access rights table you should specify tables (selection by a mask is supported) you grant access to, user groups and permissions.
Besides, a special type was added: Link to an image . If you have image files, you can specify full URLs or just file names here to see these pictures in the table or when viewing record cards. You can refer to the table of countries with flags as an example of using this type.
The current version is 1.5.3 released on April 20, 2015.
Please let us know about your suggestions and thoughts, so we could develop Eonza in the right direction.
