Dear subscribers of the Eonza project! Since our last newsletter we have added a couple of new possibilities. First of all, now you can import data not only from CSV files, but also from XLSX files (MS Excel). Second, we have implemented exporting data from table to CSV or XLSX files. All records in a table are exported given the currently set filters, and you can choose which fields to export. In other words, you can export only records and fields you need.
Another novelty is the improved functionality of the Link to table field type. As you know, this type allows you to establish relation with records in another table. Previously, you can only link to one record. Now, there is the Multiple select option that allows you to add multiple records from another table. In spite of many changes in the code this novelty required, we are glad to finally add it.
Future plans
In the first hand we will focus on fixing known bugs and problems. Also, we want to change the appearance of the system and implement responsive design to allow the system work on smartphones and tablets. The amount of work to do is large enough, so we will switch to the new design step by step, gradually converting elements and pages.
